Some Character Doodles

Lately, I've been messing around in the Procreate app and I've gotta say, it's been lovely to give myself an editing break. I've chopped over 25,000 words in one of my WIPs since May, and I think my brain was ready for a creative change-up!
I'm still learning the software and I'm clearly a Procreate novice, but it was a ton of fun to experiment with the different brushes and colors as I played around with my digital canvas!
Here are some doodles of the three main characters in my first MG Fantasy. I tried out a variety of inks/paints/sketching tools and the result is two different art styles.
I'm most fond of the "Technical Pen" under "ink" for smooth, opaque lines, though I'll never turn down a fun glitter effect!
