Some news: Runner Up in the Women on Writing Flash Fiction Contest
Hey, everyone! I know it's been a minute, but between building a house, revising 2 WIPs, and outlining a third, it's been a bit hectic on my end! (Plus, I took a much needed internet-free vacation somewhere in there, and while our cabin nearly burned down in the middle of the night due to an electrical fire, it was quite lovely.)
Anyway, I meant to post this! I started writing flash fiction as an exercise in controlling my inflated word counts while drafting, but something exciting came out it besides better control: I'm so excited to announce my flash fiction story, BOXES WE BUILD, earned runner up in the Women on Writing Winter 21 Flash Fiction Contest! It explores perfectionism, failure, and comparison culture.
